I have recently had Eemotiv’s Blackbox BB01 installed in my 2007 Holden Commodore VE HSV GTS (Supercharged).
I find the Eemotiv Blackbox simple to use scrolling quickly and easily between OEM Mode, Active Mode and Tuning Mode. Depending on the driving conditions I am faced with (e.g. road vs. track, dry vs. wet, long sweeping vs. tight twisting, etc) I can program and select an almost infinite range of settings to dial in exactly the amount of oversteer or understeer I want and to what extent I want the BB01 to interface with or override the car’s electronic stability controls.
I was able to give the BB01 an exhaustive test at a 2 Day Race Advanced Driver and Race Training session at Oran Park recently and found it invaluable particularly on a wet and greasy track after a sudden downpour. The BB01 gave me a great deal of flexibility and added confidence in how I attacked the circuit. I was able to get on the power earlier coming out of corners with the knowledge and comfort that if the car started to understeer or oversteer the Blackbox would correct it while still delivering power to the rear wheels.
I can highly recommend the Eemotiv Blackbox BB01.
